West Ilsley trainer Mick Channon has been discharged from hospital as he recuperates from injuries sustained in a car crash last week.
Channon left The Park Hospital, a private unit in Nottingham, on Thursday and has returned home.
The former England international footballer was last Wednesday week involved in a motorway accident, in which his long-time friend, bloodstock agent and racehorse owner Tim Corby, who owned a house in East Ilsley, died.
Channon suffered broken ribs, a broken arm, a fractured jaw and a punctured lung.
A yard spokesman said: "Mick Channon is now settling back at West Ilsley."
