CIARON Brown ended his season with a victory as Northern Ireland won 2-0 against Andorra in a friendly.

The Oxford United defender played on the left of a back three, alongside Huddersfield Town’s Brodie Spencer and Sunderland’s Dan Ballard.

Brown played for 69 minutes, before being replaced by Nottingham Forest’s Aaron Donnelly.

Liverpool full back Conor Bradley scored both goals for Northern Ireland, within a six-minute spell during the first half.

Brown’s latest cap brings to a close a season which has seen him rack up 57 games, including those for both club and country.

He was an unused substitute as Northern Ireland lost 5-1 to Spain in a friendly on Saturday night.

Ballard handed Northern Ireland a shock lead after two minutes, but a Pedri brace, plus strikes from Alvaro Morata and Fabian Ruiz put Spain 4-1 up at half-time. Mikel Oyarzabal completed the scoring after an hour had been played.
