FIN Stevens has been called up to the Wales senior squad for the first time.

The right back spent last season on loan at Oxford United from Brentford, playing 43 times for the U’s.

He is one of three players to get their first Wales call-ups, as Rob Page’s side prepare for friendlies against Gibraltar and Slovakia next month.

Leeds United midfielder Charlie Crew and young Liverpool forward Lewis Koumas have also received their first call-ups to the senior side.

Despite the nod for Stevens, who has been capped 17 times at Under-21 level, there is no place in the senior squad for United striker Mark Harris.

The 25-year-old scored 19 goals in 55 appearances this season, and his omission has come as a surprise, after such an impressive return this campaign.

Page has picked Ipswich Town duo Nathan Broadhead and Kieffer Moore, plus Swansea City’s Liam Cullen, and Liverpool’s Koumas as his options up front.

Broadhead scored 13 goals in 41 games as the Tractor Boys won promotion to the Premier League this season, while Moore grabbed seven goals after joining Ipswich on loan from Bournemouth on January deadline day.

Cullen netted seven times in 49 games for the Swans, while Koumas scored on his Liverpool first team debut, in a 3-0 win against Southampton in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup.
