Oxford United’s promotion hero at Wembley has taunted celebrity Bolton Wanderers fan Theo Ogden, who is known online as Thogden, with a viral video.
The Yellows took on Wanderers in London last week in the League One play-off final with promotion to the Championship at stake.
United stormed into a shock 2-0 lead thanks to a first-half brace from forward Josh Murphy before holding on to clinch a famous result.
Oxford’s players have been celebrating all of last week having reached English football’s second tier for the first time since 1999 and some had more fun than others.

Murphy himself has recorded a video which shows him taunting Thogden and has since gone viral.
Theo Ogden, known as Thogden, is a YouTuber who films vlogs travelling around the county and world watching football matches.
A video of Ogden’s father Steven, known as Thogdad, went viral in 2021 after Wanderers won promotion from League Two to League One.
Taking a sip of a Budweiser bottle surrounded by fellow Bolton fans, Thogden’s father remarked: “That tastes like promotion.”

Prior to the play-off final, Thogden hired out a bus for Bolton fans to travel to the game with the YouTuber adding a sign with his father’s slogan onboard.
Yet following the result, a video was uploaded to social media showing Murphy taking a sip of beer before saying: “This tastes like promotion.”
The video which was posted on Oxford United’s official Instagram account has amassed more than 12,000 views.
