Jockey Gina Andrews enjoyed a dominant victory at a meeting near Chinnor ahead of the Grand National.
Andrews celebrated an impressive win aboard Loughan at the Vine & Craven Hunt meeting at Kingston Blount on Sunday.
She led the race on the nine-year-old horse in the Savills Auctions Mixed Open, going clear on the second circuit in the 2m 5f contest.
Andrews managed to hold off the staying-on Drakes Well, led by Tom Hutsby, by four lengths.
The 10-time ladies' champion rider will partner Latenightpass for her trainer-husband, Tom Ellis, at Aintree.
Andrews said: "It does my confidence good I suppose.
"I always said nothing's changed. I carry on as normal and treat it like any other race.
"It is a chance of a lifetime for people like us and please God we have a safe run round and anything else is a bonus."
Loughan was completing a hat-trick after front-running victories at Dalton Park and Garthorpe.
Andrews, who also trains Loughan at Marton, near Rugby, said: "The change of tactics seem to be working the oracle.
"I have been lucky in that the races we have found for him have not been particularly competitive, but he has still got to jump the fences and he is a superb jumper."
Owned by Will Wales, Stuart and June Spence, and Brian and Susie Campbell, Loughan could now compete in the two-mile race at Cheltenham's hunter chase meeting on May 3.
Kingston Blount was the only course to hold races over the weekend, due to widespread abandonments caused by poor weather conditions.
The venue received high praise for producing ground conditions that were officially described as Good, Good to Soft in places.
Meanwhile, other victories included 19-year-old Archie Loweth claiming a thrilling win on Pym in the Jockey Club and Retraining of Racehorses Veteran Horse Conditions Race (Level 2).
Andrews, who had a full schedule, also competed in the same race, securing the fourth position on Benefaktor.
In the Print Concern Restricted, Devon trainer Dean Summersby and rider Darren Edwards savoured their first visit to Kingston Blount, riding Jet Smart to victory with an 11-length triumph over For One Night Only and Gina Andrews.
The J Passey & Son Ltd Conditions (Level 1) for Novice Riders was taken by 10-year-old Bonamargy, led by owner-trainer-rider Ben Durrell.
Max Comley and James King teamed up to take the LT Security Ltd Vine and Craven and VWH Hunt Members, Subscribers and Farmers Race with Ryans Fancy.
Court Cian took the Simpsons Subaru Six Years Old and Over Maiden in good style for Michael Kehoe, who trains at Stewkley, near Leighton Buzzard.
