The England national football team has revealed their new kits for 2024 which the men's side will wear for the 2024 European Championships.
As usual, there is the traditional white home shirt whilst a slightly different approach has been taken with the away strip as they have gone for a purple colour.
There has overall been a warm reception to the look of the kits, but some have questioned the decision about the colour of the away shirt.
Discussing the new kit, The Telegraph wrote: "Shades of 1986, the summer of Gary Lineker’s golden boot, with the home, both with its red sleeve trim and generous collar.
An instant classic.

"The nitpickers will fixate on the latter and the hefty panels down the sides, but few will be furious about a return to a more traditional colour palette and design after the more adventurous navy-sky blue fade across the shoulders of the World Cup 2022 home shirts."
However, they were not sure on the away kit describing it as "fodder for the perpetually up-in-arms".
Fans have mostly positive reactions to new England kits
England announced the new kits in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) with it having a mostly positive reception.
One person commented "oh my god they’re unreal" whilst another felt they were "both incredible".
Meanwhile, one shared: "To be fair they’ve absolutely smashed that".

Some quibbles came up about certain design choices as one person pointed out: "The World Cup star should be displayed proudly - really poor that it is basically hidden."

Alongside that not everyone was happy with the away strip, with one person commenting: "You had one job! The away kit is red - red - 1966 and all that!"
Another shared similar sentiments, posting: "Does anyone else miss seeing the red England kit?"
However, some enjoyed the new design, as another wrote: "Away Kit looking good #It’sComingHome".
