OXFORD City’s survival hopes were dealt a huge blow as they slumped to a 7-1 defeat away at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Ryan Hill opened the scoring after five minutes when he swept home Inih Effiong’s cutback.
The hosts doubled their lead with nine minutes to go until the break, via Frank Vincent’s stunning 25-yard strike.
Dagenham added their third goal in first half stoppage time, as Effiong controlled a long ball forward and found the top corner from outside the penalty box.

The fourth goal came forty seconds after the interval, when Effiong too easily got through the Hoops backline, before drilling the ball underneath Marcin Brzozowski.
City pulled a goal back four minutes into the second period, when Jacob Roddy headed in Aaron Williams-Bushell’s cross.
The Daggers hit back straight away though, as Josh Rees got the first goal of his hat-trick. Effiong burst through and found Rees, who blasted home.
He grabbed his brace in style, with a long throw-in headed away by Roddy, however Rees found the net with a brilliant overhead kick.
Rees then completed his hat-trick with eight minutes to go, when he was left with a simple finish.
The hammering left the Hoops bottom of the Vanarama National League and seven points shy of safety.
Elsewhere, Didcot Town played out a 3-3 thriller at Harrow Borough in Southern League Premier South.
