THE head coach of Banbury Judo Club has secured his second consecutive bronze medal at national championships.
Tony Partridge, a third dan black belt in judo, once again impressed at the British Judo Masters, which were held in London earlier this month.
With a very competitive pool, Partridge was able to secure bronze for the second year in a row.

He said: “It was a great privilege to compete against some talented judoka from all over the UK, and I was thrilled to secure a medal in my pool, which included a fifth dan.
“Though the contests were hard, I was happy I could translate items I coach at the club to the national level.
“Although it was a very skilled group of people, I have never been afraid of a challenge and the rewards paid off with a medal.”
