CRICKET: Sam Ryan and Lloyd Sabin carried their bats to steer Banbury into the final of the Nationwide Under 15 Club Championship with a ten-wicket victory over Oxford Downs.
Batting first, Downs managed only 89-6, with Clark Berry (2-11) and Jamie Coles (2-16) turning the screw for Banbury.
In reply, Banbury cruised to victory, with Ryan hitting 41 not out and Sabin 39 not out.
Thame booked their place in the final with a six-wicket win over Freeland. Edward Goggs took 3-8 as Freeland were restricted to 56-8, before Thame eased home at 60-4.
The final will be at Tiddington on Monday.
