KIE Plumley has joined Manchester United following his release from Oxford United in the summer.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper didn’t make a first team appearance for the U’s and was one of eight players let go by the club in May.
He has however been included in the Red Devils’ Premier League squad as an Under-21 player.
Those born on or after January 1, 2002 don’t need to be registered and clubs are permitted to use as many Under-21 players as they like during games, therefore Plumley is not included in the main 25-man squad.
Plumley is likely to play for United’s Under-21s team, with boss Erik ten Hag able to call upon summer signings Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir, plus former Burnley stopper Tom Heaton, in the senior goalkeeping department.
