Victories from Ellie Clarke-Jacques and Imogen Kempton in the 800m for under 15 girls led Oxford City to second place in their latest Southern Women's League Division 1 meeting in Basingstoke.
Melissa Hawtin won the senior women's 1500m, while Sarah Davies was third in the 3,000m.
City finished just 17 points behind the host club to move up to third in the table.
