Western Australia's Emerging Warriors are in Oxford this week to take on Oxfordshire Under 17s at the old St Catherine's College Ground in Marston.

The Australian youngsters are in England on a month-long tour, which will see them line up against several other counties.

They will have a warm-up Twenty20 match against Horspath tomorrow evening, before taking on Oxfordshire in a 50-over-a-side match on Friday, starting at 11am.

  • West Ilsley 2nd have withdrawn from the OCA League's Osberton Radiators Cup, after they discovered they had made an error in team selection for their quarter-final victory over Minster Lovell 2nd.

West Ilsley fielded a player in the game who had already played in the Telegraph Cup at the start of the season.

OCA rules forbid players from taking part in first and second XI cups in the same season.

Once they realised their error, they contacted the league and honourably withdrew.

It means Minster Lovell 2nd now travel to East Oxford 2nd this Sunday for the semi-final instead.
