DAVE Taylor has quashed rumours he is trying to buy himself out of his contract at Kidlington.
Kidlington's poor form has prompted some to suggest Taylor wanted to leave as player and director of cricket.
But when asked, he said it was the first he had heard of the story.
"If I wasn't happy here, I wouldn't be here. I travel from Andover every day," said Taylor, whose contract runs to 2011.
"If I wanted out, I would be on the phone to Nick and that would be it.
"Who knows, Nick might want to get rid of me!
"You know where you are with a person like Nick Duval."
Taylor, who spends more than 20 hours coaching primary school children as part of Kidlington's Chance to Shine scheme, also expects players to stay if they get relegated.
"If we go down, we'll be back ten times stronger," he said.
"It would disappoint me if players left because everyone who plays on a Saturday love the club. They won't see it fail."
