Oxford United have announced that they will be charging normal league prices for their glamorous pre-season friendlies against a Manchester United XI and Portsmouth.

Prices are reduced for their other two home friendlies, against Wycombe Wanderers and Cheltenham Town.

And fans who go to the bulk of the pre-season games will be able to make big savings.

Anyone buying adult tickets to all four matches will receive £10 off either a league match ticket or in the club shop. One going to three matches will get £7.50 off, and one going to two matches will get £5 off.

The U's take on a Man Utd XI on Saturday, July 26, Wycombe on Tuesday, July 29, Cheltenham on Saturday, August 2 and Pompey on Monday, August 4.

For Man Utd and Portsmouth, it will therefore cost adults £14 and children £7.50 for the Oxford Mail Stand, if bought in advance.

An adult in the North Stand will pay £15, or in the South Stand Lower £16, again if bought in advance.

Children watching from the Family Area will pay only £4, if the ticket is bought in advance.

For the Wycombe and Cheltenham games, an in-advance adult ticket costs £8, for all areas, with over 65s paying £3 and under 16s £1.

Tickets for all four pre-season games go online at 6am tomorrow.

United's ticket office will not be selling to personal callers or over the phone until July 8.

Season ticket holders have their seats reserved until July 15. They can book online, but to guarantee their normal seats they should book in person or by phone.

Lines will be open from 9.30am on July 8 for season-ticket holders to reserve their normal seats.

Tickets for the Man Utd and Wycombe games go on open sale from 9.30am on Wednesday, July 15.

Season ticket holders have until July 22 to book their usual seats for the Portsmouth and Cheltenham matches.

The North Stand's home section will only be open to U's fans for the Man Utd match. The ticket office is contacting all season ticket holders in this stand to discuss alternative arrangements for the other games.
