BANBURY United have signed the cousin of legendary athlete Sir Mo Farah.
Yonis Farah, a Somalia international, joins the Puritans after a successful trial period with the club.
The 23-year-old left back began his career in the Southend United academy but was released in May 2018.
From there, he joined Norwegian outfit Trysil FK, where he played for one season before spells with Swedish sides Ytterhogdals and Eskilstuna City.

He played 11 league games for the latter last season, before his trial period this summer with the Puritans.
Since making his international debut in September 2019, Farah has represented his country a further six times.
His older cousin, Sir Mo, is recognised as one of the UK’s greatest ever athletes, winning four Olympic gold medals.
