EDDIE Pepperell missed the cut at a second consecutive tournament.
The Frilford Heath member enjoyed a better second day at the Scottish Open, but still found himself eliminated at the Renaissance Club.
Pepperell finished three-over par in an opening round which saw four bogeys and a single birdie holed.

A more encouraging second day wasn’t enough as Pepperell’s one-under par, thanks to two birdies and a bogey, saw him miss the cut.
Rory McIlroy was the eventual winner of the Scottish Open, with his 15-under par seeing him beat home hopeful Robert MacIntyre by one shot.
For Pepperell, it spells a second tournament on the spin where he has missed the cut, following the Made in Denmark tournament, where he was five-over par.
