Paul Barrow held his nerve as his club captain collapsed to land North Oxford's championship.
Barrow and skipper Martyn Booth, both former champions, reached the ninth hole, the last of 36, neck and neck.
But Barrow secured the title with a par four, while playing partner Booth could manage only a triple-bogey seven.
High winds had made scoring very difficult with Barrow carding a 72 and Booth a 74 in the opening round.
A 75 then gave Barrow a 147 total to win by three strokes from Booth, who shot 76.
Simon Kimber finished third on 154.
