OXFORD United Women goal machine Carly Johns has left the club.
The striker scored 52 goals in 76 games for the U’s and won the Southern Premier Division golden boot last season.
United missed out on the chance to claim the league title on the final day of the campaign, after suffering a 1-0 defeat at Ipswich Town.

Johns tweeted: “My time at Oxford has come to an end. This was definitely not an easy decision to make due to my love for the club and the people who make up the club, because without them, I wouldn’t have developed into the person and player I am today.
“I have made so many amazing memories over the past five years – a few of them being reaching the semi-finals in the FA Youth Cup with the Under-16s, scoring my first senior hat-trick, scoring a bicycle kick versus Wimbledon, and scoring late winners throughout last season.
“All these memories wouldn’t have happened without my teammates and the coaching staff who have supported me throughout my time here. I have made friends for life.
“I would also like to show my appreciation to the fans who have been alongside me on my journey and who have supported me week in, week out.
“I wish Oxford United Women all the very best for the upcoming season and I will be supporting from afar.”
