Two Radley athletes shone for Great Britain against France and Belgium in the Interland Masters International at Ashford.

Kay Reynolds won the A string 100m hurdles in 15.3secs.

She also ran the 100m, coming home victorious, despite tough competition.

And she anchored the 4x100m relay team to victory.

Natasha Mighty took fourth place in the B string shot with a season's best of 10.77m.

Further afield, Radley's Alistair Duncan amassed 5,835 points to finish sixth in a vet 50 men's decathlon international in the USA.

  • DAVID Kuester set a new UK record in the 60-65 age category to win the gold medal at the British Masters Throwers Decathlon in Stoke.

In wet and windy conditions, Kuester, who represents both Bicester and Oxford City, rattled up a tally of 5,011 points.

His record came in the grenade throw, which he launched out to 50.57m - beating the previous record by more than two metres.

  • OXFORD City's vet 50 team of Brian Green, Phil Huxley and Richard Grant finished second in the National BMAF 5K at Horwich, near Bolton.

The combined time was 53mins 18secs.

Richard Grant won silver for his time of 18.06 in the vet 55 category, while Roy Treadwell was third in the vet 60 section in a time of 18.22.

  • WITNEY Roadrunner Carl Whitehead finished second in the Pennine 100 Challenge in windy conditions.

Whitehead achieved his best placing in any race, winning the vet 40 category in the 100-mile multi-terrain race, clocking 26 hrs 31mins.

The race involved running a self-sufficient continuous 100 miles, navigating across open countryside.

Having made it to within four miles of the finish, Whitehead took a wrong turn, which took him through Tintwhistle, Hollingworth and Holden - adding an extra hour to his finishing time!
