STAFF Club’s Chris Bateman lifted the Oxfordshire Bar Billiards men’s individual title for the first time by beating Donnington’s Ian Moquet 2-0.
Bateman hit form in the opening leg by scoring 11,130, which put him in a good position to win 14,530-2,150.
Melissa Standbridge (Donnington) won the ladies individual title after beating 25-time winner Pauline Withey (Oracle) 2-0.
Mark Trafford (Oracle) came up with a double triumph, by winning the Premier singles on aggregate against Allan Lacey (Vikings A) and also the Off The Spot singles against team colleague Withey.
Vinnie Brown (Vikings B) won 2-0 in the Pat Webber Cup against Democrats’ Richard Garrett (5,570-4,620), while Andy Beal (Masons) beat Arthur McIntyre (Staff Club) 2-0 (8,810-4,840) in the Never Won Cup.
