Carterton's ground improvement fund has been handed a boost following a £500 grant from the Midcounties Co-operative.
The club, who have 25 teams - 22 of them for under 18s - are looking to raise £160,000 to improve their clubhouse, ground and pitches.
They have already reached an internal target to raise £15,000 and have secured a grant of the same amount from Carterton Town Council.
The Kilkenny Lane club are now in discussion with the Football Foundation and West Oxfordshire District Council for further support.
Meanwhie, Hellenic Division 1 East club Chinnor are inviting applications for the post of first-team manager.
Applicants will ideally have previous coaching or managerial experience, and need to be energetic and enthusiastic with the desire to move the club forward.
