OXFORD UCCE missed out on a trip to Lord's after losing on the first innings rule in their final 2-day Championship game at Loughborough.
Victory for either side would have seen them finish in the top-two in their group and secure a trip to cricket's HQ.
After the first day was washed out, Oxford struggled to 166-9 in 66 overs, Charlie Duffell (39no) and Tarique Kalam (35) the only batsmen to get going.
But Loughborough cruised to 200-3 off 46.3 overs to claim victory - and a place at Lord's.
