Long-serving Abingdon Town player Luke Beauchamp is to be rewarded for his service with a testimonial match against an Oxford United XI at Culham Road on Saturday, July 19.
The versatile Beauchamp, brother of Oxford United legend Joey, has played in virtually every position except goalkeeper for Abingdon.
He made his debut for Town in a 5-1 home defeat by Lewes in December 1999.
Since then he has gone on to become one of the club's most popular and dedicated players, scoring 21 goals in the process.
The game is set to feature a host of ex-Abingdon players as well as some of the current side.
Among those who due to play are Peter Rhoades-Brown, Garry Parker, Joey Beauchamp, Chris Potter, John McMahon, Tom Butler, Andy Hough and Chris Harper.
In addition, Chris Allen and Anton Rogan could also line up.
WITNEY United boss Andy Lyne has strengthened his squad with the capture of former Norwich City youth team striker Ben Thompson.
The 24-year-old spent seven seasons at Carrow Road, before joining Ridgeons Eastern Counties League side Wroxham, where he scored 42 goals in 66 games.
Boss Andy Lyne said: "Ben has a great pedigree and he's a hard-working and unselfish striker.
"He can hold up play and brings others into the game, and has an excellent goalscoring record."
