SEACOURT Bridge remain rooted at the foot of Section Two and without a win after they crashed to a 3-0 loss at Chequers A, for whom Stuart Bishop was in top form with 14 dolls (5-6-3),
It was a comfortable night for Chequers, taking all three legs 19-13, 16-11, 24-15.
Donnington Club A got their title ambitions back on track when they stopped a run of three defeats to claim maximum points at home to Masons Arms A. Steve Walton led the way with 13 dolls (6-4-3) as they won all three legs 23-11, 19-13, 16-9.

In Section One, there was some high-scoring individual and team scores between North Leigh FC and The White House (formerly Black Prince) in a 2-1 scoreline in White House’s favour. White House set and won the opening leg 26-22 before North Leigh hit straight back to level in the next leg 31-23. White House secured victory in the final leg, setting and winning with an impressive 32-27. Roger Goodall (4-4-5) and Jon Townsend (5-3-5) both hit a baker’s dozen for The White House while Charlie Buckingham was top dog for North Leigh with 13 (4-5-4).
Gladiators A had a fine away 3-0 win at Red Lion A Kidlington, who fell to their first 3-0 defeat of the season. Chasing all three legs, the Glad’s threw well to win the first two 28-24, 29-24, however in the last leg they scampered over the line by the odd doll 21-20. Kevin Baker (4-5-4) and Andy Beal top scored for the Glad’s, as Beal bagged himself a six in his 13-doll haul (3-6-4).
Garsington Sports Club finally tasted victory when they won their first game of the season after they beat Rose Hill Club B 2-1.They won the first leg on three sticks when it was tied 16-16. Rose Hill drew level in the second leg 19-14. Garsington won the deciding leg 24-17.
In Section Three, Kidlington Football Club B opened up a two-point lead at the top when they beat The Tandem 2-1. The first two legs were shared and in the final leg, Kidlington set with 14. In response, Tandem hit nine at the halfway stage and needing only five to win, they let it slip, hitting only four to fall one doll short with 13. Neil Clarkson for The Tandem was in excellent form as he bagged a six in his 13-doll haul (4-6-3).
