Banbury's hopes of breaking into the title race were shattered by a six-wicket defeat at leaders High Wycombe.
In a match reduced to 86 overs due to rain, and the start being put back two hours late due to rain, Banbury were restricted to 199-7 off their 47 overs.
Craig Haupt made 51 as Chris Sketchley picked up 3-51.
Banbury's attack were then unable to prevent High Wycombe claiming victory at 200-4 with seven balls to spare as Paul Sawyer (62no) saw them home after Greg Pooley made 48.
