Oxfordshire Under 17 girls put in a sterling effort, but slipped to a 34-run defeat against Gloucestershire.
Batting first, Gloucestershire were struggling early on at 36-3 as Jess Lay took two wickets and Samantha Moore one.
But a partnership of 134 between Anna Evans and Sarah Tucker turned the game in Gloucestershire's favour.
Lay finished with fine figures of 2-11 from her nine overs.
In reply, Ellie Porter top-scored with 28, sharing a 50-run stand with Megan Burton.
Emilia Bartram and Elspeth Walker also shone with the bat, but Oxon finished short on 158-9.
