Banbury United have appointed former Puritan player and boss Wally Hastie as assistant manager.
Hastie, who managed the British Gas Business Southern club in the 1990s, takes over from Brian Robinson who has stepped down after more than 30 years' service at Spencer Stadium.
Manager Kieran Sullivan, who last week saw striker Andy Baird and the versatile Wayne Blossom leave the Premier Division outfit for Oxford City and Brackley respectively, paid tribute to Robinson who has been involved in the game for 65 years.
"I would like to express my thanks to Brian Robinson for all his help and assistance, not only last year, but over the many years that I have known him," said Sullivan.
"I would also like to welcome Wally back to the club. He is the ideal person to step into Brian's shoes and is Banbury through and through."
Banbury United Reserves have switched the Midland Football Combination's Reserve Division from FTL FUTBOL Hellenic League Division 1 West.
The move should be ratified at Monday's League annual general meeting.
