Twyford trainer Alan Jarvis ended a barren run of almost three months without a winner when Rich Harvest scored at Chepstow.
Richard Hughes made much of the running on the three-year-old colt, before holding off Swift Cut by three-quarters of a length in a thrilling seven-furlong seller.
The winner was bought by Abergavenny trainer David Evans at the subsequent auction for 3,800gns.
