The CPM Thame 10K takes place on Sunday, June 29 (9.30am).
A new course for this year includes more of the traffic free and scenic Phoenix Trail.
Thame Runners, who organise the event, believe that there will be close to 1,000 runners.
Entry forms are available from the club's website, www.thamerunners.co.uk or at www.runnersworld.co.uk Entries can also be accepted on the day before 9am.
There will also be a children's fun run with one lap of the perimeter of the playing fields for seven to 11-year-olds and two laps to 12 to 14 year-olds.
Entries for this can be accepted on the day at a cost of £2 per person.
