The Hoops fell behind after five minutes to a strike from Dover Athletic’s Josh Ajayi, however Latrell Humphrey-Ewers equalised 13 minutes later.
Olly Sanderson finished one-one-one to give City a half-time lead, before Zac McEachran added a third shortly after the break.
Klaidi Lolos scored a late double to seal the three points.

Banbury United’s five-game unbeaten run ended with a 1-0 loss at Bradford (Park Avenue), but know a win at home to Alfreton Town tomorrow would ensure National League North safety.
North Leigh must win their remaining two games to stay in Southern League Premier South, after conceding late in a 3-3 draw at Beaconsfield Town.
Didcot Town secured a play-off spot in Southern League Central Division with a 5-2 win at FC Romania.
Thame United won 4-1 at home to Hadley, while Kidlington’s trip to Welwyn Garden City was postponed.
