Former England seamer Paul Taylor continued his rich vein of form by taking 4-28 in Banbury's seven-wicket win over Reading in Home Counties Premier League Division 1 at White Post Road.
Left-armer Taylor has now bagged 16 wickets in his last three matches.
Batting first, Reading slumped to 56-5 at lunch, Taylor taking three wickets, and it was only a defiant 56 from Heinrich Le Roux that helped them stagger to a final total of 137 from 53.2 overs.
Taylor was well supported by Jimmy Phillips (3-37) and Ryan Newhook (2-26).
Banbury lost Simon Hole for 14 in their reply, but solid knocks from skipper Benji Hector, who top-scored with 52, Mark Rorich and Craig Haupt saw them home by seven wickets in 34 overs.
