Jackie Charles won the triple jump and 80m hurdles at the Midlands Masters Championships in Solihull.
The Radley athlete leapt 7.93m in the triple jump, before clocking 17.00 secs in the hurdles.
Both of these would have been British age records, but for the lack of a wind gauge and electric timing for the hurdles.
Charles also landed victories in the long jump (3.27m) and high jump (1.11m).
- WHITE Horse Harrier Paul Jegou finished fourth in the Thames 10K run in Wallingford, crossing the line in 34 mins 54 secs.
Abingdon Amblers had two athletes in the top ten.
Steve Copley was fifth in 35mins 57 secs, with Chris Bedford finishing sixth in 36.10.
- HEADINGTON Roadrunner Kirsty Hewitson showed her tremendous stamina as she competed in the Bob Graham Round Cross Country in the Lake District.
The race was a multi-terrain 66-mile race, which Hewitson finished in 22hrs 48mins.
