David Hall's four recorded an incredible 44-7 win in Shiplake's 114-64 thrashing of Thame in Division 1 of the Oxford & District League, sponsored by Yarnton Nurseries Garden Centre.

It helped his side claim the points 6-0.

Banbury Central A saw off local rivals Banbury Chestnuts by 51 shots to pick up maximum points, while an understrength Carterton side posted an impressive 5-1 win over Headington A.

South Oxford jumped from bottom to third in Division 2 with a 5-1 victory at Chipping Norton.

West Witney extended their lead at the top with a narrow five-shot win at Kidlington.

Bloxham and Woodstock maintained their impressive start to the season by recording their fourth straight wins in Division 3.

Woodstock battled hard to defeat promotion rivals Oxford City & County B 83-80.

Ron Collett and Brian Clarke picked up good wins for Wood- stock.

Charlbury scraped 65-64 at home to new boys Headington B in their Division 4 top-of-the-table clash.

Watlington, the other newcomers, tasted defeat for the first time against Chadlington.
