Oxfordshire have resisted the temptation to ring the changes for their EBA Middleton Cup clash against Hampshire at Banbury Central on Saturday.
Despite being hammered 125-92 by old rivals Berkshire in their Group 3A opener two weeks ago, Oxon have named the same line-up.
There is just one positional change which comes on Alan Prew's rink, with Mark Charlett moving to skip and Prew dropping down to No 3.
Oxfordshire: C Carpenter, B Sparkes, Geo Moon, C Whitehead; M Sykes, R Buckett, R Clanfield, L Young; G Lucas, S Richens, R Redford, K Holloway; H Watts, N Rae-Welsh, N Lewis, S Claridge; M Charlett, M Petersen, A Prew, M Nash; Greg Moon, M Thomas, I Henwood, J Philpott.
Oxfordshire's late fightback proved in vain as they went down 128-120 against Gloucestershire in their friendly at South Oxford.
Oxon trailed by 51 shots after 15 ends, but finished with a flourish to lose by just eight.
Skip Allen Newbury's rink of Steve Gibson, Bill Allin and Kevin Alder carried the fight for Oxon with a 39-8 victory.
However, defeats on the five other rinks proved decisive.
The friendly against Leicestershire at Kidlington was washed out.
Oxfordshire 120, Gloucestershire 128 (Oxon scores): S Gibson, B Allin, K Alder, A Newbury won 39-8; N Woodward, L Eltringham, A Hunt, M Petersen lost 18-17; J Timms, A Tozer, S Gilkes, A Ley lost 24-19; D Lines, T Backer-Holst, S Allin, R Bull lost 25-18; E Fry, P Cross, R Claridge, I Whelpton lost 27-15; G Hooker, C Blakeway, M Keen, J O'Shea lost 26-12.
