OXFORD United’s youngsters face a trip to Manchester City if they win at the Kassam Stadium in a rearranged clash next week.
City won 5-0 at home to Fleetwood Town last night to seal their place in the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup.
The U’s can join them if they get past Leeds United at Grenoble Road next Wednesday.

Academy manager Stevie Kinniburgh said: “When you’re looking at a potential tie away to Manchester City, it doesn’t really get much bigger than that with the type of academy they’ve got and the production line they’ve got.
“We need to deal with a very tough Leeds United first before we even think about that one.”
City brushed aside Fleetwood at their Academy Stadium, a 7,000-capacity venue part of the Etihad Campus.
Whether the winner of next week’s tie would play there or at the Etihad Stadium in the quarter finals is to be decided, but Kinniburgh says focus remains very much on the game against Leeds.
He said: “It potentially could be at the Etihad, but more often than not they use their Academy Stadium.
“The only way it might be the Etihad is because it would be a quarter final game.
“We’ve got a tough game against Leeds so we’ll deal with that one hopefully if we get there and we can look at those logistics.”
