BICESTER’S Levison Usher is already looking forward to taking to the track at further events after an impressive national championships.
The seven-year-old took part at the Arenacross E5 British Championships, held at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham.
The youngster has been riding motocross since he was aged just three and earned his place at the Arenacross championships by racing all over the country.
After a couple of practice sessions, Usher was able to adapt to the track conditions ahead of the race.

When the gates dropped, he got off to a quick start and powered his way through to ninth, while managing to avoid a crash at turn one.
Usher made up another place through the jump section by taking a tight line across the jumps and breaking late at the corner.
At the chequered flag, he crossed the line in eighth.
He said: “I’ve loved riding at Arenacross. The track is fun and the people looking after us have all been very friendly to me.
“I hope I can come back to race here again in the future.”
Usher’s father, Daza, said: “Since Levison was very young, he’s always had a passion for racing motorbikes.
“The opportunity for him to race in front of this huge crowd is a memory he’ll be able to tell his grandchildren about.”
