KARL Robinson is optimistic Oxford United could potentially field an entire new attack next weekend.
The U’s boss has been without Marcus Browne since the winger picked up a hamstring injury in the Boxing Day defeat at Ipswich Town, while Sam Baldock has yet to play a minute this season after injuring his knee during the 2021/22 campaign.
Josh Murphy meanwhile had missed the previous four games prior to a substitute appearance at the weekend, and like Browne, James Henry has been absent since Boxing Day.
Robinson though said the quartet are all nearing a return to action, with United in desperate need of fresh impetus in the final third ahead of the trip to MK Dons on Saturday.

“Browney’s back on the grass and 10 days away, Sam Baldock should hopefully be in the squad by next week,” said Robinson.
“By next Saturday, you should be looking at Murphy being able to start and Sam Baldock certainly on the bench.
“James Henry’s trained all week and he’s looking fitter and fitter.”
On former Cardiff City winger Murphy, who played the final 20 minutes against Shrewsbury Town, Robinson said: “He’s probably coming back in a much better place than what he came back last time, he’s in great form in training.”
