WITH five days left of the January transfer window, where Oxford United need to strengthen remains the big talking point.
So far, the club has brought in three players – although arguably only Brandon Fleming will play for United this season.
He has three appearances already and looks to be healthy competition for Ciaron Brown at left back.
Stephan Negru and Teddy Mfuni are undoubtedly ones for the future.
It begs the question though as to where United need to target in the final days of the window.
“We’ll make a decision and hopefully he comes back fitter and raring to go for next season.”

The midfield three of Lewis Bate, Marcus McGuane and Cameron Brannagan has lots of potential but there is little depth, and in certain games, the U’s have been crying out for a genuine enforcer in the middle of the park.
It is clear though a centre forward will be the main focus for United.
The U’s have only managed seven league goals this season from those playing as a striker.
Matty Taylor has netted three goals, while teenager Gatlin O’Donkor has scored twice. Kyle Joseph has bagged two goals while up front.
The style of striker is almost secondary at this point, provided whoever comes in can be a regular supplier of goals.
