Kidlington's dismal season continued as their batsmen failed once again to back their bowlers in a low-scoring clash at Thatcham in the Home Counties Premier League Division 2.
Having dismissed Thatcham for a paltry 155, with Jamil Faruq and Dave Taylor both taking four wickets, Kidlington had 52 overs to secure a much-needed win.
However, not one of their batsmen showed the required application as the top order all crumbled in alarming fashion.
Despite stubborn resistance lower down, there was no way back from 42-6 as Kidlington managed to bat for just 32 overs, before falling well short at 96 all out - their lowest ever score in this league.
