KARL Robinson has strongly dismissed rumours linking James Henry with a move away from Oxford United.
Henry has been touted as a possible target for Sky Bet League Two side Gillingham and is again absent from the U’s squad to face Fleetwood Town this afternoon.
United head coach Robinson said Henry is injured, and that’s why he’s currently unavailable.
Asked whether Henry could be making a move to the Gills, Robinson said: “The question is completely unfounded, I don’t know where that’s come from.
“We have no idea – whether other people are talking behind our back, I don’t know.
“Not one of our recruitment team or our staff have said anything about it, I can’t elaborate on it any more.”
