Kelvin Alexis and Matt Hayward have been appointed joint managers of Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division side Kidlington.

They take over from Paul Lee who has taken on the new role of the club's general manager.

Lee will oversee the development of the players and liaise between first, reserve and youth team management.

Meanwhile, Garry Parker, who managed the reserve team to the Hellenic League Reserve Division 1 title, has left the club.

Last year's youth team manager Steve McMahon will step up to replace Parker.

Mick Trafford and Bob Sherlock will take on the youth team, bringing with them their Garden City boys team.

Pre-season training will start on Thursday, July 3 at 7pm at Yarnton Road.

ABINGDON United will host Abingdon Town on Tuesday, July 22, as part of their pre-season programme.

It begins on Saturday, July 12, when they travel to Old Woodstock Town (3).

Robert Dick and Banjo Malcolm are the new management team at Division 1 West side Launton Sports.

They replace Joby Edwards who left at the end of last season, having led the club to a 13th-place finish.

Pre-season training starts on Thursday, June 12 at 7pm, at Launton. Players, past and present, are welcome.

Banbury United's top-scorer Nicky Gordon signed for next season. There had been rumours that Gordon, who scored 21 goals for the Puritans, would leave when his contract ended, but he decided to put pen to paper.

"I'm delighted," said boss Kieran Sullivan.

"While there were a number of interested parties, I have been able to persuade Nicky to commit himself to Banbury for 2008-9."

The Banbury District & Lord Jersey League are looking for a new fixtures secretary following the retirement of David Gregory, who is stepping down after 25 years.
