Oxfordshire Bowling Association went down to a 101-99 defeat against Somerset at Bath Bowling Club in their away friendly.
The match was always in doubt due to heavy rain in the morning, but started on time in a fine drizzle.
The rain finally won the battle and the game was concluded after 18 ends, for the second week running, Oxfordshire again lost by two shots.
The sides shared three rinks apiece.
