Southern Women's League
Radley picked up their first Premier Division victory as they beat hosts Horsham by 25 points following an excellent all-round team performance.
There were 22 first places and 20 seconds out of 55 events, as Radley athletes led the way.
Kay Reynolds led the way in the senior women's competition, winning the 100m hurdles, javelin and shot, while Tara Kafke was first in the 200m and second in the 100m.
Paula Woodland and Lauren Tolmie won the A and B string 400m hurdles, while Tolmie added a B string 400m victory for more valuable points.
In the 800m, Sophie Tyers won the A string race, with Jennifer Sutherland second in the B string race.
Aislinn Baird threw 26.19m to win the javelin.
In the junior competition, there were a host of excellent performances.
Leanne Spurway took first place in the A string 100 and 200m, clocking 13.2 and 27.3 secs respectively, while Susan Keet recorded 4.42m to win the long jump.
Further A string victories came from Grace Taylor in the high jump (1.40m), while Emma O'Hara won both the shot (9.27m) and discus (25.10m).
The 4x100m relay team of Spurway, Taylor, Keet and Sutherland completed a successful day with victory in 54.1 secs.
Result: 1 Radley 169pts, 2 Horsham 144, 3 Chelmsford 111, 4 Crawley 101.
- Radley B finished fourth at their Division 2 meeting in Salisbury.
Fielding a weakened team, there was a busy day for Rose Webb in the veterans' competition as she competed in the 800, 1500 and 3,000m, while Jes Lacey took part in six events.
Islay Thorn took the only senior A string victory, clocking 1.13.2 to win the 400m hurdles.
In the junior competition, Lucy Paley won the shot with a throw of 7.79m.
She also finished third in the discus (15.53) and javelin (17.50).
