LATE goals saw Oxford United slip to 16th in Sky Bet League One after their own game was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
United had been due to host Barnsley yesterday, however a morning pitch inspection saw referee Charles Breakspear call the game off.
Overnight temperatures had fallen as low as -7c according to the Met Office.
The U’s entered the weekend in 14th, however late wins for Bristol Rovers and Fleetwood Town moved the two sides above United.

An 87th minute goal from Aaron Collins ensured Rovers beat Port Vale, while Fleetwood completed a late comeback at MK Dons.
The Cod Army fell behind when Warren O’Hora opened the scoring, but Carl Johnston levelled things, before Dan Batty scored a 90th minute winner.
Karl Robinson’s side are six points adrift of the play-off places, and five above the relegation zone.
Two other games in League One were called off due to frozen pitches – Accrington Stanley’s home clash with Portsmouth, and Charlton Athletic’s trip to Morecambe.
No new date for United’s game against Barnsley has yet been confirmed.
At the top of the table, Ipswich Town now lead League One after a 2-1 win at home to play-off hopefuls Peterborough United.
Previous leaders Plymouth Argyle were held to a goalless draw at Cambridge United.
