CHINNOR will look to bounce back from their narrow defeat at Cambridge when they make the trip to bottom side Hull this weekend.

The Thame-based outfit remain winless in four National League 1 games, but were only just beaten at second-placed Cambridge, who held on for a 31-27 victory.

Hull though have yet to win this season, from 11 league matches, and sit nine points behind Leeds Tykes and Esher.

Chinnor are a further point in front, knowing the weekend clash provides an opportunity to pull away from the bottom three sides.

Leeds Tykes host Cambridge this weekend, while Esher travel to Bishop’s Stortford.

Henley Hawks are back at home this weekend when they welcome Rochford Hundred in National 2 East.

Kick off at Dry Leas is at the slightly earlier time of 2.30pm.

The match forms part of a double-header, with Henley Hawks Women playing Richmond Women.

Kick off for that clash is at 5pm.

Henley Hawks were beaten 28-24 at Sevenoaks last time out, their third defeat in four games.

They are still eighth in the table but are now 14 points behind the leaders Blackheath.

Head coach Luke Allen has made six changes to the side beaten at Sevenoaks, one of those positional, as he looks to halt the slump in form.

In the forwards, Morgan MacRae starts at hooker, while Scott White returns to the back row.

Tom Vooght moves from wing forward to No 8.

Ewan Fenley makes a return at scrum half following his injury layoff with Adam Hakimian also returning to the centre.

Seb Scott also comes back into the side to the wing.

Four of last week’s side are covering bench duties this week.

Oxford Quins will look to get back to winning ways when they make the trip to Bournemouth.

Quins were beaten 50-17 at home to Camberley last time out in Regional 1 South Central.

Meanwhile, Banbury will seek to bounce back from their 102-22 thrashing at league leaders Wimbledon when they host Sutton & Epsom.

In Regional 2 Tribute South Central, Witney host Salisbury, following their victory over Reading.

Grove, beaten 61-7 at home to Stow-on-the-Wold, visit Tottonians.

Chinnor III will be hoping to continue their 100 per cent start in Counties 1 Tribute Southern North when they visit Swindon College Old Boys.

Bicester, third in the table, welcome Bletchley.

Wallingford, fourth, are at home to Marlow, while Gosford All Blacks are at Reading Abbey.
