EDDIE Pepperell followed up his sparkling display in Portugal by finishing just inside the top 50 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
The Frilford Heath member was in fine form to finish fourth at the Portugal Masters, but slumped to 49th in South Africa.
Pepperell holed four bogeys in an opening round, which included a birdie on the 10th hole.
Three birdies and five bogeys followed in the second round, before half a dozen birdies and four bogeys were holed in the third round.
In the final round, Pepperell managed two birdies, however was let down by a bogey on the ninth hole and a double bogey on the 11th.
Pepperell is next in action at the DP World Tour Championship, which takes place between Thursday and Sunday in Dubai.
