MATTY Taylor and Billy Bodin scored doubles as Oxford United put four past Port Vale.
Bodin opened the scoring during the Sky Bet League One game at the Kassam Stadium, when he fired in a first-time effort after Aidan Stone could only parry Marcus Browne’s 30-yard strike.
The U’s were lucky to keep their one-goal lead when Ellis Harrison’s back post header was superbly tipped onto the crossbar by Simon Eastwood, before Mal Benning was unable to convert after Gavin Massey had kept the ball alive.

United made it 2-0 before the half hour mark when Bodin shrugged off his marker and charged down the left.
The former Preston North End man played the ball to Browne, whose shot across goal was poked home by Taylor from a matter of yards.
The U’s went three up in the second half when Bodin chested the ball down and slammed an effort into the top corner after the visitors had failed to clear a corner.
Taylor rounded off the scoring with a clever, instinctive header after a James Henry free kick from the right-hand side.
