Kieran Mansbridge marked the week of his tenth birthday by becoming the first student at the Abingdon School of Leadership Martial Arts to become a black belt in tae kwon-do.
He undertook testing at Swindon, where he was the only one from Abingdon out of about 60 studentsvarying, from six years to adult.
A pupil at Marcham School, Mansbridge started classes two years ago and has since been joined by his younger sister, Ellie.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at Long Furlong Community Centre, Abingdon, from 5.30pm.
