RAB McNair was delighted to see his greyhound win the first major racing final in over a decade at Oxford Stadium.
FromPostToPillar, the 4/7 favourite, won the £10,000 Cowley Puppy Collar at Sandy Lane.
The greyhound was last out of the traps on Friday night, as Havana AllABlaze made the early running.
FromPostToPillar won all three of his qualifying heats in dominant style, and rallied to get four lengths off the pace at the entrance to the back straight.
That gap was reduced to a length entering turn three, before taking the lead and extending his win by five lengths.

Assistant trainer McNair said: “I saw him run a race at Tralee and my eyes jumped out of my head/ I realised then he was a serious dog.
“He’s a monster, it’s almost scary.
“Before the race, there was a lot of banter with people saying ‘let’s see what happens if he’s behind’.
“Last week he delivered the goods and the same happened tonight.
“It’s terrific to win the first major final at Oxford Stadium.”
Havana AllABlaze ran on to finish second, with Lively Lauren third and Romeo Mission fourth.
