TEENAGER Jayden Carbon’s first goal for Oxford City wasn’t enough as the Hoops slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Farnborough.
Ross Jenkins’ side had the opportunity to take the lead on 14 minutes when Zac McEachran set Klaidi Lolos through on goal, however the striker got the ball caught beneath his feet, allowing the home defence to recover.
Five minutes later, Hisham Kasimu gave Farnborough the lead when he latched onto a cross, and shot beneath Ben Dudzinski.
Kasimu scored his second when he cut inside from the right wing and curled a shot into the far corner.
A brilliant team performance from #oufc yesterday with lots of top individual displays. Ciaron Brown was immense at the back, Djavan Anderson impressive on the wing, but Lewis Bate was my pick of the bunchhttps://t.co/irIlwQRiKf

City were handed a lifeline on 77 minutes when Carbon grabbed his first Hoops goal.
Reece Fleet played a ball over the top of the home defence, with Carbon on hand to bury a shot into the back of the net.
Farnborough almost restored their two-goal lead when Dudzinski got fingertips to a Jordan Norville-Williams shot, touching the ball onto the crossbar.
Defeat sees City slip to 10th in Vanarama National League South, four points outside the play-off places.
Banbury United suffered their fourth defeat on the bounce after a 1-0 loss at home to Kidderminster Harriers.
The Puritans are 13th in National League North, three points adrift of the play-offs.
